Natura 2000
Natura 2000 is the EU’s network of protected areas that are particularly worthy of protection, from a European perspective. This is an important part of the species and habitats directive where one wants to achieve and maintain favorable conservation status for the species and nature types that are protected within a Natura 2000 area.
